Sarah El Ebiary
President
Ms. El Ebiary is a political consultant, campaign manager, and the founder of VeganBusinessLawyer.com as well as New World Entrepreneur & Entertainment Law, which provides intellectual property law and business services for creatives, startups, and the entertainment community. She is licensed in Washington State and the Oregon bar license is pending. She received her undergraduate degree in New Media Communications from Oregon State University and her JD from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. She is also the Managing Editor of The Muslim Legal Journal, the online publication of the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. She was also a co-founder of the CAIR-Oregon state chapter.
Susan Adams
Vice President
Ms. Adams is Associate Director of Marketing and Performance Analysis Legal for Intel Corp. She attended Emory University School of Law and is licensed in Oregon and Texas. Prior to joining Intel, she was a partner in the Dallas, TX office of Locke Lord LLP, where she focused on antitrust and false advertising litigation.
Hon’ble Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai
Secretary & Former Board President
Judge Kasubhai (he/him) is a child of immigrants and he was born and raised in southern California. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 1992, he attended UO Law and received his J.D. in 1996.
Judge Kasubhai was appointed to the federal bench in 2018, following 11 years of service as a Lane County Circuit Court Judge. Prior to joining the state bench, he practiced plantiff’s civil litigation throughout southern Oregon with offices in Eugene and Klamath Falls, Oregon and served as a member of the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board. Judge Kasubhai is the first Muslim American federal judge in the country.
Usman Mughal

Mr. Mughal is the co-founder and patent attorney at Mughal Gaudry & Franklin PC in Beaverton, Oregon. With over 14 years of experience practicing law, and 10 years of engineering experience, he focuses his practice on intellectual property, including patent prosecution of computer, electrical and software-related inventions.
